Birthday gift

So, this weekend I am going to visit a friend at Iowa State for her birthday! I'm psyched because I haven't seen her since August. I really wanted to make her something this year, but I didn't think I would have the time. We only decided on my visit late last week, and well, with all my classes, I didn't think I should push it. So I picked up a cute Old Navy t-shirt for her. And then left it with Kyle!!! Who is now 3 hours away from me. Ooops! So, I pulled out a cute scarf I had started over Christmas break, and I will be making her that. Really I am happier this way. The scarf is the perfect colors for her, and it's handmade, which says something about our friendship, I think. By the way, she is the one who really got me interested in knitting, which is ironic because she no longer does it. I will post a pic of her in the scarf after this weekend, so wish me luck on finishing it! Only twelve rows to go, but it is like a 7-foot scarf, and I am crocheting along the width!
