My sincerest apologies for going MIA. My friend, Tara, from Iowa came back with me for a few days of spring break, and she just left this morning. I haven't been getting a lot done on my knitting either. I have started the front of the vest(the pic from last time was the back) now that the back is finished. I also started a funky blue shawl. I recently bought this fun skirt. It's black with colorful flowers on it. I wear it with a black top, though, so I was looking for something to brighten up the outfit. I am a little over halfway done, and that should be done by the time you get here, Anne.
An update on Charles' sweater: the front and back are done, but I have been at a standstill for a little while because I can't find a set of size 9 double sided needles. I may have to order them on the internet, I guess. It seems silly to me that some needles and crochet hooks can be impossible to find in stores!
Mostly I wanted to post to say how excited I am about this weekend! I am so looking forward to seeing you and your mother, Anne. And I can't wait to teach you how to knit! See you soon!
