Slowly but Surely

I am making progress on my satchel/purse/thingie. I will probably give it to my little goddaughter when it's finished, as I don't think the colors are practical for real grown up use. Still, it is crochet and it was free. Because I already had the yarn. But I think I'm going to run out before the purse is done. So it could be really interesting. I'm so happy to be making something successfully though!

And last weekend when I got to visit with Elaine, not only did she promise to start posting again, but she agreed that we should definitely have another family yarn fest this year around Thanksgiving time. I'm so excited!!
