Why buy?
I also left my hat with Kyle this weekend, which is very unfortunate considering it is 0 degrees out! So I went to the UI bookstore to show my school spirit and warm up with a new hat. But they had a terrible selection. The knitted hats were either ugly or didn't fit right. Finally I found a crochet hat that was acceptable. When I got to the cash register I realized it was $25!!!! Now you know I would have been busy knitting away tonight if it weren't for the pile of homework. So I charged it to my student bill, and now I'm walking around in a fairly ugly black and yellow hat that cost way more than it was worth! But at least it's warm.

Well, that's slightly frustrating! Good thing money grows on trees! :o)
Sounds like the weekend is a go, at least for those of us who got together last time. I still haven't heard from Grandma - I'll try to call her tonight!
