Knitting group

My apologies for the raging post yesterday. After I posted I did indeed pull out the 30 rows and fix it, and I even knit another 30. Obviously I am feeling a lot better about the project.

The knitting highlight of this weekend would be the fact that I attended my first knitting group. There were about 15 to 20 other women there, and I was by far the youngest. I think all of the other women were between the ages of 30 and 50. Everyone welcomed me though, and it was fun. The best part was getting to see what everyone else was doing. Oh my gosh! Beautiful things. It was very inspirational to see all the things that I could try. No matter how many knitting projects you have done, there is still always something new and fun to try.

While I was at the yarn shop, I also picked up a couple of sweater pattern books. They were on major sale (a total of $1.50), and had great patterns for sweaters I could wear to work...when I get a job! Knitting Charles a sweater is really boosting my confidence. Hopefully the blocking and finishing is just as easy as the knitting!
