Very, very quickly (because my husband has been studying like crazy all week long and may come at any moment to claim this computer) I wanted to share that yesterday was a good crafty day. Not because I got a lot accomplished. I didn’t, but I did go to the library to look at all the lovely books that have lovely pictures of all the lovely projects I’ll make someday when I have money (by then I’ll have no time, I’m sure).
Anyway, I discovered the library has knitting and crochet magazines, older ones that you can check out! It’s like getting your magazine subscription whenever you want! Unfortunately, the only crochet magazine they carry is called Crochet Fantasy. I checked out two copies and was not very impressed with the patterns inside. Still it was something new to look at.
And then while I was taking my bath, Peter brought to me the mail (which our poor mailman delivered in 4 inches of snow at 6:15 in the evening, and what was in the mail?! My Crochet Today magazine!!!
So now I know what my next project is. They have the cutest one-piece romper for babies. I’m going to make my first attempt at an article of clothing for my son! I’m so very excited.
