Fresh Start

I restarted my Let it Snow afghan last night during the Superbowl. Although I must say, I devoted my entire attention to the first half of the game, no crochet in hand and was glad I did as it was most exciting! But by half time my attention was wandering....

So I started counting 152 stitches. And it's a good thing too because I still get a little bit confused at the end of the row. I think I'll keep counting for at least a few more rows, so I get a really good feel for it.

The cold weather inspired me to restart this afghan - though I was feeling like it's time had past for this year. But if the temperature is -6 degrees then a warm afghan is still necessary!! I wonder if I could finish it in time for Grandma's birthday...doubtful. Plus Aunt Ann is the crochet gift-giver in that family, and I certainly can't match her talent yet!

Well, I may get in a few minutes of crochet this very morning as my school was delayed for 2 hours! Yippee!!

Do you guys have that much snow?! Wow, it's just really cold here.

I can't wait to see this afghan! I love winter designs. And Mom would love to see you give hand-made gifts as well. :)
