Knit Out!!!
I had an INSANE weekend, but the knit out was definitely the highlight. Upon reflection I must acknow I amledge that knitting has gone to my head. As Stephanie Pearl-McPhee would say, I am finally one sheep short of a flock (if you know what I mean). I spent 16 hours on the road for 4 hours at the knit out. Sad.However, it was great fun. The fashion show was amazing! Oh, I should mention right now that the event wasn't just for knitting but for crochet too. So the theme of the fashion show was the relationship of knitting and crochet. The first segment featured knitting and crochet as single and seperate crafts. Then came their dating period when a knitted garment could also be crocheted. The engagement involved piecing together a knitted garment and a crocheted bottom. The big finale - the wedding! This segment featured a wedding dress that was both crocheted and knitted.
Down side of the Knit Out - not enough to do. I was there four hours, and I don't feel like I missed a thing, except meeting a few people at the autograph table. The lesson tables were small and it was too hard to hear the teacher.
I filled up my spare time walking through the vendor lines where you could see new products (I plan to write a raving review about the new Ruffles yarn - see photo of scarf - and get free patterns. Speaking of which, my next post is going to be about free patterns(I have WAY too many and yet never enough).
And I just cut 6" off my hair. It was hard, but it feels soooo good!

Yay, yay, yay! I've been waiting on needles and hooks for an update! I'm glad you guys had fun. My dad had a blast teasing your mom about the whole thing!
So in another post (and maybe when you have time) you'll have to explain about how your magazine turned into a website and why! I'm dying of curiousity!
And by the way, great shot of yourself! I love the hair!
Cute hair! I wish the pictures were bigger so I could see them! I posted about all my classes liked you asked! Hope you get time to read it. What's the address to your website? Your mom kind of told us about it.
